What is ITG TCA FX

ITG TCA FX is an addition to ITG's TCA product that will allow stakeholders to analyze perfomance and implict costs for foreign currency trading assests which may affect trading price/performance.

ITG TCA assesses trading performance and implicit costs under various market conditions, so you can adjust strategies, reduce costs, boost fund performance, and potentially improve a fund’s ranking. ITG TCA helps you measure, analyze, and control the full range of costs which may affect trading price/performance.

My Role

As a User Experience Designer at ITG, I acted as an internal consultant for web based solutions. An interesting challenge presented itself on the TCA FX project in which there currently are no standards or expected features. As a part of working on this project I contributed the following skills:

proposing technology solutions
creating hi-fidelity prototypes (later used as a base for the web interface)
creating prototypes to test interaction concepts
creatin interface mockups
working with graphic artist to increase visual appeal
created user interface and user interaction specification documentation

TCA FX will be the first cost evaluation tool specifically used for foreign currency assets and many of my solutions were used in creating the standards and expected features that will be set forth for this product.
