MyColts.net was a unique project that I completed while obtaining my Master's Degree at Indiana University. MyColts.net is an online transmedial trivia game concept that I designed with a group for a sports informatics course I attended at IU. This game, as a transmedial device, is designed to take advantage of multiple internet enabled devices to use the MyColts.net software. Anyone with an internet enabled device could work together as a team to correctly answer trivia questions. The trivia game would recognize which devices were being used and answer chosen from each device used in the game. The answers would then be shared along with the time it took that user to answer.
I, along with two other masters students and our professor, studied how transmedial artifacts and the social aspects football fans deem important could affect the design of a product. After a month of literature review and ethnographic study we formulated a design. While the other members of my team themed the prototype, I built a working web based transmedial prototype. Throughout the project I employed many of my skills listed below:
HTML, XHTML, CSS, JS, PHP, MS Office, Contextual Inquiry, Usability Studies, Heuristic Evaluation, Personas, Prototyping
